Wring every red cent you're due out of these vultures, cause they're not gonna look at your notes and volunteer to pay you what you're owed.

Surprise! I'm in NYC! Got invited to an internal event at Reddit HQ to be on a panel of moderators. We toured the office and I've eaten half my bodyweight in fresh pasta. Looking forward to the actual event tomorrow!

More credentialing woes. It's going to be at least another week before I can start my new job. I've now been home for a month. I'm baking banana bread. I'm making candles. I haven't worn shoes in weeks. Suddenly I have opinions about sourdough starters. Guys help, I'm going domestic #MedSky

Probably too early to tell. I don't smell or see any rot, but if they're dead then they wouldn't have started to decompose yet. They've essentially been inside a giant refrigerator since being shipped.

I cut it back to bare roots and watered it. Guess we'll see what happens

My MIL gifted me a pink princess philodendron. Through the mail. In the middle of an ice storm.

Is there any point in trying to cut it back to bare roots and save it? Help me out #Plantsky

There IS one benefit of being stuck in credentialing hell and in between jobs. For the first time in almost 15 years, I didn't have to sleep at the hospital because 2" of snow is the end of the world here in the South. First proper snow day I've had since high school!

Been growing this monstera adansonii albo out from a single rootless node for several months now. It's finally starting to really take off and I can't wait to grow it on a pole. Go lil buddy go!

Only 10 months separates these two images of this monster marble queen. They don't call it "The Devil's Ivy" for nothing! #PlantSky

5 months of growth on my favorite plant of them all. String of Pearls are so alien looking! #Plantsky

Migrated piece of a medical device that was retrieved from a patient's right atrium. Interventional cards will always be the coolest specialty on the block!

Do you want a houseplant that's literally unkillable? Like...stick it in anything from a wet paper towel to the finest of soils, this butthole doesn't give AF. Fertilizer? You can if you wanna. Water? Anywhere from everyday to once a month, or less.

Back when I was a floor nurse, I would make a "heartbeat in a bottle" for the family members of every EOL patient I cared for. I'd have the nurses on shift save their protonix vials and stuff the patient's EKG or telemetry strip in them. A red sharpie on a med label heart finished it.

Cost: $0

Consult: severe AS, AVA VTI 1.0, Mean gradient 47 mmHg, peak vel 4.36 m/s.

The echo from which these measurements were derived:

It's been a frustrating day, to say the least.

Fun finding on a structural heart patient today. Immediately prior to this image, the patient had a couplet of PVCs. What condition would you expect to produce this spO2 pleth morphology? Leave your answers in the comments, #MedSky and #CardioSky!

It's always jarring to sit on the other side of the exam table, but it's extra so when it's your child. Wish us luck as we head to our genetic screening appointment today. Hoping for some answers regarding her autism, delays, and communication challenges.

No contest here for me, it's the String of Pearls hands down. They thrive easily as long as you get the soil and light conditions right. Can't unalive 'em under any circumstances with those two things on board.

Two month time lapse on my String of Pearls! People say that this plant is hard to keep alive but I've had no trouble. Look at him go! #houseplants #PlantSky
