Proprioceptors, though non-nociceptive, express ASIC3 and mediate acid-induced hyperalgesia, linking them to #sngception in both mice and humans 🐁 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♀️ #Proprioception #ASIC3 https://buff.ly/3Xhs6Ku

Excellent principles!
May 2025 be the year we understand:

1. Calories matter most for weight loss, but hormones influence how many we eat.

2. Exercise isn’t amazing for weight loss by itself, but it’s great for you regardless.

3. Most won’t have long term weight loss from diet and exercise alone.

There is no food or supplement that even gets close to the effect of a GLP-1 receptor agonist like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound.

We need to stop saying “sacroiliac joint dysfunction” as this implies “abnormal alignment or movement” (Dixit, 2025). This is not what we see.

Instead, SIJ pain (outpatient) or in the few cases where radiological evidence +/- labs support, sacroiliitis, or fracture/dislocation.

It’s not obesity medicines OR lifestyle changes.

I don’t see why anyone would still be using X, the hellsite formerly known as Twitter.

The migration of MedTwitter, along with a large cohort of science journalists, to BlueSky is striking in its scale and rapidity. In a short time, this shift has effectively transformed BlueSky into the essential hub for breaking medical news and vibrant scientific discourse.
