Got myself a little gift to stick on the bottom of my JP GameCube.

Blasting through Super Mario 64 is still about the most fun thing in gaming.

I've been getting ads and even seeing Gabe talk about getting ahead of AI and mastering it to further your career and whatnot. Isn't the point that AI does the heavy lifting? Make somebody watch a 2 hour webinar on best prompting practices and they're up to speed. It doesn't seem like a big value ->

It has to be said.

Mega Man 5 has the best soundtrack of the NES games.

It’s no analogue 3D but I finally hooked up the ol’ CRT in front of the couch for that crusty retro gaming we used to love.

Just finished Klonoa: Empire of Dreams and it's a real hidden gem. The stages are like big puzzle labyrinths that Mario Vs. Donkey Kong or DK 94 fans will get a kick out of. They're fun to navigate and make you feel pretty smart when you figure out the tough ones.

I just blasted through three hard Mega Man games so I don't think I'm going to jump straight into ZX but I started Klonoa on the GBA and I think I'm going to like it.

Just finished Mega Man Zero 4 and holy smokes. They managed to build the story back up after 3 and give the series an absolutely epic conclusion. The weather system was neat, the cyber elf was a lateral move but still interesting, and the crafting was... there. Probably the hardest in the series.

I finished Mega Man Zero 3 tonight and it's a masterpiece from top to bottom. My cheeks were clenched through the final stage.

It has arrived.

Just finished Mega Man Zero 2 and loved it. I heard it's really hard so I wasn't sure what I was in for but I managed. I played it on the DS collection which is great because you get really cool art of all the bosses on the bottom screen as you fight them.

Just bought a cheap game on a popular auction site here and had to enter a code sent to my phone FOUR TIMES during the process. I don't think that's any more secure than just sending it once but I guess it's better than no 2FA at all 🤷‍♂️

But what if Bowser Jr. sounded like... Bowser Jr.

I wrote more words about how it feels to be a translator watching the games press report on AI and labor, coming from a field that's fought these battles for decades. It may look like I'm beating up on one outlet, but it's not about them; I've been trying to write this for me and my peers all year.
You Can't Report on Hunger While Taking Bread Off the Table
On the proliferation of machine translation in video game outlets covering the effects of AI on labor.

Just wrapped up Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. It's a great game in its own right despite having some quirks. It's probably too easy once you get the bolt book but I guess those are the perks of being a Belmont who can also use magic. There's a lot of amazing environment pixel art too.

Don’t look at me like that, Moss. I’ll get to replaying Pikmin 4 when I get to it.

We took an impromptu trip down the road to Yamadera today.

When you consider that the GBA was one of the last systems where companies could crank out heavy hitters for a series on like a yearly basis it makes sense that it has one of the best (not making as bold a statement as I'm thinking) libraries of all time.

Decided to try the Sega Game Gear for the first time and found some games that looked interesting. The GG Aleste games are already blowing my mind for an 8-bit system.

The Sonic Pocket Adventure ost is actually really awesome. Maybe the music of the Neo Geo Pocket is something I need to check out more of to get my chiptune fix. Check out this Mushroom Hill arrangement.

Metal Torrent is an interesting little game in DSiWare history. It was made by Arika who have done a bunch of stuff like the 3D Classics series and Tetris 99 but they have like a little shmup contingent there who did the Dai Ou Jou port on PS2 and Ketsui's DS version. It would have been awesome if
