Temps are now freezing at night, too cold for most fungi, but bonnets are hardy folk so mainly what I’m finding. A little family I found yesterday. I took a few photos, but the little visitor didn’t show up until the last one. Scroll ⬇️ for closeups

Indigo milk caps (Lactarius indigo) can be dark blue or a pale grey-blue depending on how old it is, however it bleeds blue if you cut it! The "latex" inside turns green as it is exposed to air.
It is common in the Appalachians.
