And then my parents wouldn't allow me see the movie.

It might be moving, but it is confusing. I've seen that movie half a dozen times, and I still don't know who the real Spartacus is. And that is what makes that movie a classic "whodunit"

Well, yes. I'd argue it's not him that is explicitly conservative, not in a traditional sense at least, as much as he is appealing to conservatives. As well as some liberals.

Trying to create a "liberal" version of him is starting from the end result and skipping over all the steps that led to it.

Joe Rogan is Joe Rogan because of his non-critical approach to everything. He brings almost everyone to his podcast, no matter how wacky, dumb or toxic. Along with a number of "normal" guests that gives him a dose of legitimacy.

There is no "liberal" framework though which this can be done.
