An interesting look into Wavenet, Midway/Williams' early attempt at using the internet with their arcade games... that was basically doomed to fail since broadband was extremely pricey and the benefits were slim.

its wild that WaveNet UMK3 cabs just turned back into regular UMK3 without a connection, like I understand locking out the linked play but also completely disabling the rebalance and Noob Saibot just seems like more work
