How do we determine what we deserve?
How do we have an impact through boycotts? I have not seen much result in boycotts, I cannot believe if we all participated it would help. My vote to start is Tesla and Starlink.

I learned today that driving is not the only thing to avoid while intoxicated. I dropped a thirty pound propane tank on my foot. Thank god for the scotch so I did not feel it. I will need to keep this therapy for at least a week.

I had two glasses of Christmas spirit, so I had to switch to Christmas beer (Shiner Holiday Cheer). Now I am filling up on Christmas Cheer now I have the Christmas spirit in me.

My Christmas wish is that we stop thinking of those less well off mainly on Christmas and Thanksgiving. People are hungry and hurting all year round.

My suggestion is for her to make reproductive rights front and center. Judges are not viewed as responsible for inflation [my hypothesis why the Tories (Republicans)did so well]. That should push her over.

In other countries, the Conservative Party is called the Tory party. I think that name should attach to Republicans. In the American experience, the Tories were the loyalist who sided with the British in the revolutionary war. It is apropos.

John Rawls asks us to consider what kind of world we would build if we knew nothing about where we would end up in it. That would require to design a world with safety nets in case the designer ended up in the lower end. We all need to ask ourselves that question. Read A Theory of Justice.

We were not present in 1787 when our current social contract was executed. Things have changed over the past 250 years. The contract as executed was flawed evidenced by all the amendments. We need a new contract that includes justice as a fundamental right.

I spent a great deal of my career investigation abuse, neglect, and exploitation of the elderly and persons with disabilities. I learned so much from these folks — especially persons with developmental disabilities. I want to see them everywhere in the community.
