Accounts like mine have generally been oriented mostly towards posting/reposting fanart, so I can imagine this shift to US news reposting isn't everyone's speed and that's understandable. However. You will catch me dead if I'm not using my personal account to show stuff I think is important.
I won't shame people for using moderation tools (like word/account mutes) to limit exposure to this onslaught of US news, as that's not what everyone is here for.
However, for those who have any shred of care or proximity, you have to let yourself be *deeply* uncomfortable and upset with this.

i dont understand the market of "secondary phones". no one should want to have two phones. if you're buying a 2nd phone to take with you places because you lack impulse control, you already have the power to solve those problems by setting limits in the settings, or uninstalling time wasting apps
