This is so appalling. “Hey all the stuff you’ve seen with your eyes is countered by an email I’ll never show you from an email account that’s not public where I can fabricate my bullshit same sidesism and call it “reporting”.

The fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis wasn't the first time federal officers have shot & killed civilians during the Trump admin's aggressive immigration enforcement campaign.

Federal officers have fatally shot at least three other people in the last five months:
Before ICE Shooting, Immigration Agents Repeatedly Used Deadly Force
The killing of a Minneapolis woman is latest by ICE and Border Patrol officers in recent months. Others have been wounded or threatened with guns.

The next true journalist who interviews Trump should show him a photo of this inscription on one of the #KennedyCenter 's walls, and ask Trump to tell us who Pericles, Phidias, and Lorenzo De Medici were, and what their contributions were to public life or progress in the arts. #NoJackKennedy

Happy New Year! At midnight on Hogmanay, the Watch Stone will move from its position guarding the approach to the Ness of Brodgar to take a drink from Stenness loch. (Or so it is said!) Wishing you all a wonderful 2026, filled with folklore, fun and many a hike to an ancient site 💚🪨🎉

Delightful to see our feathered friends appreciating the gifts of the season! Nature truly brings us joy. 🌿✨
I spent my Christmas morning bringing gifts to my favorites. They were very excited and seemed to appreciate it, which is all that matters to me.

The calm of the sea, the stretch of endless sky, and the quiet rhythm of the world sometimes moments like these remind you to pause and simply watch.
A biting wind flows over dune grass. The sky is slate grey upon wool, softening into the peach of a remembered warmth above a pale, endless blue. The sea rolls in with a sigh. On the edge of the world the ships are still. And tucked in the dunes’ shadow, the steadfast houses keeping quiet watch.
