Comment, not a prediction: turnout of 44.2% is relatively high for a by-election, and you'd *typically* expect that to be a positive sign for the SNP. They do best amongst younger and less affluent voters, who are least likely to turn out, so higher turnout generally means more of their voters.

Employers should not be allowed to ask non-essential staff to come to work in a non-essential business when there's a red weather warning. They shouldn't be allowed to dock pay if someone follows police and gov advice to stay at home.

I can survive without pizza delivery for 1 day.

I have a Google routine that reads out the weather and news to me each morning using British Male voice. This morning it was a different man waking me up. They've ramped up the condescending tone. He's got attitude. Not a fan.

1. Goto "Settings" ⚙️ 👈
2. Scroll to: @ Change My Handle
3. Click "I have my own domain"
4. Login to your domain registrar
5. Create a new DNS record. Copy + paste text it shows you.
6. Click complete.
7. Do a smug little grin.

Someone please stop bluetooth devices automatically reconnecting to the last known device. So frustrating having to hunt down a device to manually disconnect just so I can use my earbuds on my phone/laptop/whatever.

BlueSky tagged my first post with the correct language codes. Minority language speakers are not used to this wizardry. (And Scottish Gàidhlig is easily and often mistaken for the more widely used Irish Gaeilge). Cool beans 😎
