Sounds like a Them problem.
My take is "fuck you, pay us" at this point. They make TENS OF BILLIONS a year, and claim to hire the brightest engineers on Earth. They can find a way to remove our stuff from the models.
And if not, welp. Time to start over and engineer in something that can!
