Hello, writers. I’m new to this writing community, but not new to writing— I’ve been doing that since childhood. I mostly write fantasy, romantasy, and soft sci fi for YA and adults alike. Bear with me as I learn my way around here. If you know me from writeblr, please say hi.
Taylor Swift’s “Wood” being 100bpm—the recommended tempo for hands-only CPR—is delightful.

“Wood” could save your life.

I can’t tell if I have chemistry with most people I encounter, or if I’m just too effusive and loquacious to recognize everyone’s general dismay

And, in case anyone wanted to know, the song was Sydney Rose’s “Thank You For Trying.”

Absolutely devastating. I listened to it on repeat while lying on the floor. 10/10 experience.

Leave it to a music streaming app to, when given permission to introduce me to songs similar to ones I already enjoy, then take the opportunity to gut-punch me out of nowhere.

Don’t trust the ‘shuffle’ feature, folks.

I like my romantasy book couplss like I like my whiskey: on the rocks.

(This is a lie. I like both smooth and not at all chilled)

Taylor Swift’s “peace” would have done numbers as a duet. I said what I said.

…and yes, I have already designated sections of said duet in a secret document I show to literally everyone. Why, are you asking to see it?

My brother did not go see Sleep Token or Conan Gray without me. He, despite my best “oldest sister” judgment, lives to torment me another day…

Listening to Conan Gray’s “Eleven Eleven” after Taylor Swift’s “Wood” has mortally wounded me.
Emotional whiplash.
Why did I decide to do that?
Curse my obsession with lyrical comparative analyses.

Do any other virgo placements find the idea of a rage room stressful? Like, you want me to make a mess?! That’s cathartic to you?
I’d actually prefer to clean up after you’re done while blaring the most intense songs from every musical, thaaanks!

My autism complicates my acquisition of true gender euphoria. Long, scary, talon-y nails and tall, stompy boots make me feel powerful.

But alas, I am clumsy and sensitive to the unusual sensations that result from donning such exquisite adornments.

It should be illegal for a person to have a migraine, menstrual cramps, and be in a depressive episode at the same time, but biology has made me a triple threat I fear

My favorite quality of mine is how much “present Luna” prioritizes finishing arduous tasks so that “future Luna” has an easier time— because we all know “future Luna” is probably toiling and suffering in some fashion

Interestingly, “shopping around” so to speak— assessing which institution of higher learning is willing to offer the accommodations that best suit a disabled person’s needs— isn’t common practice. Or, at least, it wasn’t possible for me. I do encourage it, though.
While I acknowledge that funding for the disabled is staggeringly poor, I also know, as someone who’s used these services, that many accommodations simply require some adjustments & time from abled people. Usually, it’s more a matter of whether abled people are willing to make these adjustments…
Where one offered extra time on reading-heavy assignments & computer work, the other declined so as to “not provide an unfair advantage over sighted students.” Depending on the school, disabled students may or may not gain access to a range of tools & services necessary to their academic success.
