The house is down with the flu. Since I can’t go out thought it was time to paint my Arcane Circle from @reaperminiatures.bsky.social . This is only the third miniature I have painted. Reaper’s Spectral Blue paint make the runes pop!

I know this sounds weak, I know it.

Almost 40 years of D&D experience and I have finally completed painting the second miniature I have ever painted. Rocky the Earth Elemental was inspired by the basalt mine my company owns.

Last night my 19th lvl #DND party faced & defeated the villain who got away during their very first lvl 1 adventure. That took place over 5 years ago IRL. The look on their faces & excitement when they realized who they were facing was priceless. The villain was based on this art.

Cortex Prime is a toolkit for making tabletop RPGs. There’s some assembly required but it literally is a huge box of LEGO that you can mix and match to create pretty much any TTRPG you want. It isn’t a pick up and play book but I believe there’s always going to be an audience for this thing.

My players enjoyed this aspect in a module I ran. When the ancient tower they had been looking for was actually under a temple that had been built over its ruins. They had to explore the temple to find the way to the tower before they could find their goal.

Very RPG lite holidays, but I love the few RPG gifts I got. A new patch for my Velcro section of my larger tactical DM bag. Some wood tokens for my #DND game. Five of each of these tokens in the set. Can’t wait to use them.
