The issue with actual plays is it sets false expectations. It’s like watching movies & expecting real life to be that way. Many have all the toys because companies send them free merch. The players all overreact to everything the DM says.

Cleaning up and streamlining rules, while not changing the overall core mechanics of the game. Basically, fixing what is broke and making the game flow better. It can also be used to move the setting forward in time.

They already made my 2024 by partnering with the Pinis to do a rerelease of the Elfquest RPG from the 80’s. Cant wait for the books to go out in 2025.
