Your friends love you and understand you're grieving. If you need space for yourself to deal with all the pain they will understand, but also they don't expect you to put up some sort of "normal" mask to hang out with them. They just want to be around you, even the you who is sad and grieving.

See tea was already too complicated for me and now I feel like a casual jogger who has just had the entire 2025 LA marathon lap them for the third time.

You've been through so much, but you're not a Ziploc bag. You're a beautiful, kind, empathetic human being who doesn't deserve all the hardship the world has thrown your way. You deserve to be happy. I hope you will be happy.

Every Finnish house was like this when I was young. I think most new buildings have central heating systems, but our house is very old and a few years ago the radiator in my room broke, so I've had to make do every year with a portable radiator/heater.

So "You are what you eat" is canon in fish/mermaid/mummy culture.

The "raping a 15 year old is not the same as raping a 5 year old" defense is much like saying hitting someone with your car is not the same as hitting them and then reversing over them to make sure they're dead. Yes that's technically right, but both those things are bad!

Sorry, if I knew how to fix that I'd try it on myself first.

The obvious picks of course, Mountains of Madness, Color out of Space, The Haunter of the Dark etc, but I must also admit I like The Secret Cave from his juvenalia just for the giggle-worthiness.

Better safe than sorry, as they say.

Like, blood tests? That's not a small amount!

Autocorrect Y U insist on changing "can't" to "can"?

I've done Picross, but in general I prefer word puzzles to number and logic puzzles. My issue with Picross type games is usually that they start you off with stuff that's so easy it's boring and don't let you skip ahead.

I dunno how YOU use your bed, but when I had a king size one side was for me and the other for my books and laptop, so I just assumed that's what everyone else did too.

Sadly I'm an aneurotypical OCD sufferer who hates change. I only want to play games where the rules never change and where I've long ago achieved the human limit of how well I can possibly do at a repetitive task, just in case one of these days I'll reach a breakthrough and raise my score by one.
