Pie has been baked and is cooling, I got a bit silly with the top crust. I wish I'd done more of an even egg wash but the skullies are adorable.

Working on some originals to sell at the upcoming Victorian Christmas Market at the LA Arboretum and for some reason I could not resist hedgie portraits of Lizzie and Darcy.

This Cozy-lotl I did was this guy, which is actually acrylic. I can't remember why, I think I just wanted to do something cute for my kiddo and fiddle around with acrylics for the first time in awhile.

Merrylotl! I have this series of little watercolors I've been doing for awhile now I call "Cozy-lotls" which is axolotls usually in sweaters drinking something. So here's a silly holiday one!

Went to an actual grown up Halloween thing last night and did my go-to "Edward Gorey Inspired Ghostly Person" costume I really love how makeup can subtly (or not subtly!) change the face. Also having a middle age goth wardrobe makes Halloween pretty easy.

We took the kiddo to the highly sus local Halloween pop up and it was the perfect mix of real stuff & knock offs. Behold! Are you "Creepy Coed" or "Haunted Girl"? Perhaps you are "Comic Vixen" or my personal fave "Bad Habit".

I have reached a point in life where I actually really like my own work like 85% of the time. I'm really happy with how far I've come and how I've managed to embrace my own aesthetics. And I'm looking forward to how they continue to evolve.
