I‘m astounded that people thought the files wouldn’t be heavily if not completely redacted if/when they actually ever got released. I’m begging people to be for real, even for a minute. I’m not understanding the outrage at what everyone had to know was inevitable. Please. PLEASE.

I’m getting ready to go to The Met today, for the first time since moving to NYC (it’s been a while). Much like Times Square I’ve always avoided it because it is always SWARMED with mostly tourists. But today, I tick the last major NYC [art] museum off my list.

i think a (perhaps underappreciated) aspect of this whole situation is the extent to which every elite profession is filled with people who excel at drawing attention and want to be famous more than they want to do the actual job
