I may be geeking out a bit, but who doesn't like a good marginalia?
I bought a box of bingo pencils to have a pencil in every book I read and around the house so I have it when needed.

I went, I pitched and... don't remember much from the session. I think I was completely in my element and have temporary amnesia 🤣
Thanks Benjy for sharing your notes!

It was quite a day!
My first pitch and a truly active participation in every session 😅
Just a year ago (as usually in these kinds of events) I'd be just listening and dying of anxiety when I wanted to say a word... but something clicked!
#GCcy25 thanks for that opportunity!

Knowing that information on the internet age fast, why 95% of pages do not have publication dates?
So many times, looking for an up to date information, I started reading something to realize halfway that it's an update from five years ago...
Add publication dates to your content, please!

Great example of introducing UCD to the organisation with strong legal constraints and low digital maturity.
Also it's good to see the influence of GDS and an example of building on its foundations
Our task isn’t redesigning government forms.

Instead, it’s changing all things attached and related to them:
• org structures
• people’s mindsets and skills
• laws and policies

My @digitalservice.bund.de colleagues Marlene & Sonja share what 2 years of such work look like—in their Amsterdam talk:
How we aim to make the German justice system more user-centred while digitalising legal aid

Knowing (by now) how risk awerse is #healthcare sector, #UserResearch and #ServiceDesign should be their good friends!
These are tools to minimise the risk of failure in delivery of new or improved services.
Why there is so little attention to these two disciplines?

I wonder if other UCD people working in organisations in health/research area experienced coworkers being triggered by the word ,"research" even with "user" coming before it? I feel they have a set of assumptions and expectations related to the academic research not differentiating it from UR.

Putting oneself out there is scary, but I applied for a Senior Bevan Fellow program and was successful 😅
Now, I'll need to share my experiences and reflections more widely and often, what is pretty stressful (especially for a person who's not a native English speaker)
Keep fingers crossed 🙃
