Now that our last big event for the year is over, and I have incredible friends to thank at @bikesd.bsky.social and SDBC for the success of BikeSD Presents. We tried new things, we tried big things, we brought new people into our work and we had a lot of fun! Here's me looking satisfied as hell

I can't stop smiling from last night. @thewaroncars.bsky.social delivered much-needed encouragement to fight the good fight with Life After Cars, along with tons of laughs and (deserved) dragging of SD car culture. Best part was just watching all the head nods, pops & cheers from such a stoked crowd

Thank you to everyone who came out! My heart is so full 🫶

Man I hate how much of the view of the downtown is taken up by that massive parking garage at City College lol it's even worse at night when the whole empty garage is lit up

It was eerily calm, warm and clear yesterday ahead of the big storm

Ah, the mystical southern lights seen from San Diego.

This last week was tough but today I biked really fast and coasted and biked really fast on a car-free path that took me to the beach and it made me feel happy

This bottom floor used to be parking and now it's an apartment! Every unit counts

Trying to calm myself down and not go on a yard sign vandalism rampage. Btw this is the "affordable housing" they wanted to save from being developed into an apartment building on A St

Traffic engineers designing the main entrance road to the city's largest university:
Let's give the drivers at least two 10' wide 50 MPH lanes in each direction.
And the cyclists? Hmm maybe we could squeeze a few inches for them between the speeding cars and this wall of poison oak

Why keep San Diego Ave open to car traffic on Old Town's busiest weekend of the year? Just so frustrated drivers can circle through the center of the dia de los muertos festivities looking for non-existent parking spots?

Liberal wine moms are angry and ready to fight

Can we all please take a minute to tell Matteo/Buona Forchetta owners that this fucking sucks? How can we explain to them that these claims about protecting the community are bullshit?

Oh my god my mom has been radicalized by Donald Shoup 🥲

Brilliant. The city made signs to show how parking meter revenue funds real, tangible improvements in the neighborhood. This is how you communicate the true cost of parking!

Hahahah damn straight

It's currently 84 degrees in San Diego and I wouldn't want it any other way
