the medical impacts on our lives alone should be enough to squash this notion. we just started studying cis women’s bodies what?? 8 years ago? what makes you think they’re rushing to study trans men? my biological reality has not changed because i get correctly gendered at the grocery store now

trans masculinity is a marginalized gender experience and it helps no one except cis men to pretend otherwise

i would never seek to discount the very real violence and strife that trans women / transfemmes face, but i thought the whole point of transition was embracing our differences and honoring our individuation. who does it benefit (besides cis ppl) to collapse trans men into an imagined toxic monolith?
