Bach to Bach hits, bikes, books, etc. Rochester, NY 🎶
Along with the sweeter sounds of their bell ringing this group is a big fan of the “martele” (hammer) effect, or as they like to call it “bonk” or “bonkers” :)

Getting into work late because… A school handbell choir is about to perform in the transit center! How could I not hang out here a bit longer? 🎵 🚌

This was recently remade beautifully as LIVING, but you all still owe it to yourself to see absolutely stunning original.
Heading to IKIRU tonight at the Dryden. (Thanks to @monaradio.bsky.social for reminding me!)

me, last night: what was the movie, directed by a guy, he made other movies but maybe not a lot, and they run around a lot? Maybe in LA? Maybe it is has one name?

him, this morning: were they running around Chicago and are you talking about Michael Mann's Thief?

(my husband is a psychic genius).

THE BAD SLEEP WELL gets a little lost at the end, but overall really amazing tonight seeing it at the the Dryden as part of the Cinemascope (in this case TOHOSCOPE) series. Surprisingly funny at times for such a heavy movie. Kurosawa noir is some of the best (and even better in HIGH AND LOW).
