My 81 yo dad is nothing if not practical. He likes to choose one item and get enough of them to give as gifts to everyone in the family for Christmas. One year it was car floor mats. This year it’s this magazine. (I assume he asked ChatGPT for advice on what this year's item should be.)

That's part of why this idea is no bueno. It ignores a lot of incentives for patients, docs, and pharma companies to push or pursue more expensive, invasive treatments that can lead to poorer outcomes and more pricey follow-up care.
