At this point I would vote for my dog over my state's senators. He loves people, has no desire for power, and protects his people fiercely, which is more than I can say for @cortezmasto.senate.gov or @senjackyrosen.govpeeps.us and the entire GOP.

@senjackyrosen.govpeeps.us Don't vote to reopen the gov on an empty promise from GOP of a future vote on healthcare. You'd have put us through all this just to give them what they wanted all along, the destruction of the ACA. You will lose my vote & the vote of anyone who will listen to me.

The good news is that SNAP funds are going out in some states. The bad news is that in some cases it's less than half the normal amount. Example: in Nevada a family of three that usually receives $450 a month was allotted $74. If you are waiting on funds, prepare yourselves. #snap #ebt

5 years ago I was "essential". 4 years ago sick w/ COVID. 3 years ago got COVID again. 2 years ago stopped working due to long COVID fatigue. Last year I started receiving SNAP to feed my fam while hubby works FT. Now the peeps that once thanked me celebrate my hunger. #shame #Trumpshutdown #Snap

Interested to see what happens in Nov when the CR that keeps failing to pass expires. This will be after 42mil loses their SNAP & 1.4mil fed workers have not been paid. The House will have to come back to work to vote on another CR & Mikey will have to swear in Rep Grijalva. Get the popcorn ready.
