US President Donald Trump directly blamed Vladimir Putin for the ongoing war in Ukraine, a day after threatening massive tariffs and sanctions on Russian products if he fails to make a deal to end the conflict.

U.S. president also says he’ll ask NATO allies to raise defense spending to 5 percent of GDP.

Trump probably has the option to put boots on the ground in Ukraine, if that's what it takes to end the war. Sanctions could do very little at this stage to deter Russia.

Hope China doesn't sell Tiktok to US, it's the only app that shows you what you want, don't give that away for nothing, at least get TSMC in exchange for it!
January 21, 2025 at 11:38 PM
China shouldn't sell Tiktok even if Trump promises them Taiwan.
January 20, 2025 at 7:38 AM
TikTok should just accept being banned, the US seeks to undermine Tiktok and by being controlled by an American company they will reduce its importance and value.

TikTok is the best app, Americans losing it means they are living in a prison of their making.

What works for liberals doesn't work for the world. The world didn't like Biden and his many fuckups from Afghanistan, Ukraine to Palestine, what a terrible situation in all parts of the world.
January 17, 2025 at 4:42 PM
People think that what happened to Palestine is just like a natural disaster, something that happens, but actually it's a totally preventable man made disaster, perpetuated by the Biden administration. Could've been stopped, but they chose to do nothing instead. Have politicians become stupid.

Well the grown ups in the room brought havoc and mayhem to the world, we have to be honest here, it was a bad 4 years.

"You deserve leadership in Washington that does not answer to the lobbyists… or to the corrupt special interest but answers only to you, the hardworking citizens of America," Trump said during his 2024 campaign

After he won, TRUMP IMMEDIATELY NAMED A CORPORATE LOBBYIST AS HIS CHIEF OF STAFF

Invading Greenland helps in negotiations regarding Ukraine, so I would expect it to be done quickly, his first act in office.
January 13, 2025 at 6:22 PM
So this is what I think will happen after Trump enters white house, first week he invades Greenland, I don't think he was joking at all, then he will threaten Russia with possible US direct intervention in the war, although that one is debatable, it could be that Trump has a deal with Putin already.
January 13, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Even though Trump is in office, it might get to a world war 3 situation in Ukraine, Trump usually likes head to head battles, and has ordered killing of Russian mercs in Syria in the past, the same thing might happen again, all options will be on the table to get a deal through.

Ah, now anti-DEI discourse has reached game development studios and publishers.

In a way they’re doing us a service. I know who to never work for in the future.

After inauguration, people might get a rough wake up call with US having already invaded Greenland. It's important after Russia made a brazen move to expand its territory, which means China will do the same in due time.
January 8, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Trump will want to take Greenland quickly like on day one so as not to set the precedent for a long drawn deal for the other territories. Denmark is not taking it seriously enough.

America is about to achieve peak capitalism, the corporations are just gonna directly run the government. Oligarchy doesn't describe it.
January 7, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Tech and media are not grovelling to Trump just because he's capitalism personified, but because of his closeness to Elon Musk mainly that has them jealous and looking for a similar deal. These people are absurd at how easily swayed. Funny.

On CNN they talking about why democrats lost. There is always two things wrong with the candidate that loses, rather than one simple reason or many reasons, it boils down to two for people. Trump had one flaw, but Kamala had two big flaws for the average voter, the economy and sexism played a part.

Normally you win or lose based on the deals you make, but for Ukraine they have to accept any deal that comes their way, going to war was the absolute worst option.

Indiana Jones is the new Tomb Raider or Uncharted, looks like the character will live on in video game form.

Trump for all his faults is obviously good at the foreign policy thing, he is a negotiator so he bases decisions not just on US interests but international interests as well, with the goal being US long term interests, but Biden admin didn't do that and it's why Ukraine is a mess right now.
