The algorithm they use is based on the behaviour of its Chinese users or the type of content they make, America can't produce the exact same app if they were to reverse engineer it, it will be something else everytime.

TikTok's content is less artificial looking than YouTube content. They shouldn't ban it, it would be like banning the people's app.

People don't understand it's about reducing the threat of competition not influence from China, the other apps are not a threat to YouTube or Meta. Chinese influence is merely an excuse for the actual reason behind the ban.
