I’m confused by this. I ordered dad’s groceries yesterday and used PayPal. I have no charges in my bank acct. But it says refunded? But.. he definitely got his groceries!

They also refunded me a bit because they were out of cheap English muffins and only had expensive, so I don’t pay the difference

I’m on a bus! Bye bye Halifax. This trip was way too short (but also felt very long?)

Two large slices of brownie, two servings of potato, carrots, and turnip in take away containers, two slices of pie, a ziplock baggie of date balls (they look like chocolate balls), a small mason jar of whipped cream, a smaller jar of cranberry sauce, a bag with 4 of the largest biscuits I’ve ever seen, and a spaghetti sauce jar with some gravy that has a note “gravy out of carrot water no meats of any sorts it’s good” on it

Picked all of my peppers the other day and earlier I cut them up to dehydrate.

Despite washing my hands NUMEROUS times and EXTREMELY well, I can still taste jalapeño on my nails.

Also. Whew the air is spicy!

I went for one last falafel and baklava at Shaddy’s. Came away with a handful of grades from the back deck and also Fadia’s number so I can get some fresh grape leaves next season. 💜

EVEN MORE CLOTHES. I got the heart molds for soap making 😍 and the most dangerous bakery pit stop. Last photo of clothes are for sister. And a walnut butter tart that the bakery lady gifted me when she heard it was my birthday. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!

1. I found the SOFTEST kitten. They had several more. I wanted all of them.

3. STICKERS! Earrings! The stickers were 5/1!!
A tiny tabby kitten is snuggled in my arms. One ear is cocked to the side. Their eyes are still blue. Vintage-esque cross stitch of stems of roses on black. It has a gold frame. It’s roughly 17” tall but maybe only 5” wide? The frame is “antique” gold but it’s just painted like that. Stickers! A black ice skate with rainbow laces & a rainbow stripe. Big foot carrying a very large Big Foot-size taco. Big Foot on a bike with the moon behind him a-la E.T. “Big Foot doesn’t believe in you either” and it looks like a forestry badge. “Hide and seek world champion” and Big Foot is on it. The dates 1967-Present is below him. Small, round ceramic earrings that have a delicate blue floral pattern.

Please marvel and chuckle at how badly I am unable to crochet a consistent square.

Still functional, though! And that’s all I need :)
6 crocheted dishcloths of unknown stitching. Three are greens, blues, yellows, and dark pinks. Three are oatmeal, light browns, and teals. Two look like waffle stitch? The rest might be some form of double crochet or treble crochet.. none are actually square, although a couple do look square in the photo.
