I've redesigned Ambrose! I wasn't identifying with his previous design as much as I'd like to, and I struggled to enjoy actually drawing him. Which I think came down to my bad habit of designing characters that are "good character design" without giving them traits I enjoy drawing

A DnD NPC portrait of a character I based off of an ube cake roll. I mostly used her as a way to familiarize myself with drawing wrinkles. I dont think I made her look her age, but she IS a moon elf, so maybe she's just aging gracefully, lol.
