I just saw a logo "breakdown and redesign" video that summed up the entire problem with these negative takes on the Jaguar rebrand.
The new logo is feminine. It is soft luxury. It's not angular lines and a predator, it's not aggressive: it's a cat. A big, powerful cat that wants to snuggle.

And I honestly think it’s great. I can see so much opportunity for them in this design language. A great chance to create a luxury car that doesn’t conform to what they all look like nowadays.

I hope this is wrong and isn’t actually it. Because this is a backwards looking, vulgar and frankly ugly piece of design.
