This is so true. Just talk to farmers. They’ve only survived the past few decades because of massive government handouts (to be clear, I support the Farm Bill), but they absolutely RAGE at “those losers on the government titty.”

A lot of the people you see arguing against food assistance are actually on food assistance. They work at Walmart or a convenience store and think they are deserving, but others are not.

I know no one has the staff anymore but I wish a news org would track down the people who yelled about this and get them on the record about the demolition.
I remember Fox News spending days on the scandal that was Michelle Obama’s modest little veggie garden. It was discussed and berated non-stop with the general theme being ‘how dare she desecrate those hallowed grounds.
