This somehow scared the guts out of me, as a kid! :D

Sadly, yes...

The single most annoying issue with SEUCK games is that they play identically to each other. And they are dull.

So, praise for the nice graphics, indeed!

It's a unused theme music that was written as a candidate intro music, but never used. It was left buried in the SID bank. 😊 You won't be able to listen to it in the game. You need to load and play the SID file. 😗

Yeah, Rubicon was published after Flimbo's Quest. Nice game, huge music by Jeroen Tell. That aside, nothing that interesting. Hawkeye is the best of the bunch.

Search for Johannes Bjerregaard's (main) theme. It's really awesome (despite loving Reyn's one a lot).

Amazing graphics, top-notch technical implementation, and awesome music (the hidden theme music is even better than the official).

Dull gameplay, pretty much identical to Hawkeye and Rubicon.

Gosh!!!

Erm... yeah. Dumb question, probably. 😅 I was mostly curious about (overall) what flowers they can typically harvest near their hives. 😊

We have a hive, too! Some bees are inhabiting an unused chimney of our house. They are adorable and did an awesome job this year! Our tree had a lot of fruit!

I also made beer, back then... but it turned out way too bitter for my taste (and I'm not an avid drinker, so having 23 liters of beer to stock was a bit demanding :D).

Mead was easier to handle, as I only did ~5 liters.

Which nectar are your bees feeding from?
November 9, 2025 at 11:04 PM
Niiiiice! I prepared some mead many years ago, and some days ago I was thinking it would be interesting to make it again! :)

Agree. It's a trope that very rapidly becomes stale. LucasFilm adventures typically have at most one joke on that and that's ok.
November 4, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Sooooo nice. But, as usual, you are such a good artist that this doesn't surprise me! <3

Oh, gosh. Yes. And they were the EXACT SAME colored labels... :')

Nice question, I'm wrapping up a devlog post about that. :)

The main benefits are:
- dead-simple loading code (no need for support libraries),
- faster loading times (being a raw format, no additional processing is required),
- smaller memory footprint, as almost zero buffer memory is used.

Thanks for the follow! ;) (mutual, now)

Yep, that's exactly the point. Any additional work is a chance to improve and learn...

I always appreciate suggestions for new and (to me) unknown music and artists! Thanks again! 🤟
October 30, 2025 at 11:09 PM
Thanks! Much appreciated! I'll check them later today!
October 30, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Yay!

I'm listening to this, right now... reeeeally tasty! This will be my coding background music, tonight!

Thanks a lot! 🤟
