I have to eat it on this one. I’m always critical of how Dallas waits to the last minute for extensions (Dak twice , Zeke, CeeDee) and overpays their stars. They were proactive and did Diggs’ deal early and at good value. But his contract has been a disaster since he signed it.

Heat started out well to begin the season. As of late, they’ve had a bad trend of starting off hot in the 1st and 2nd quarters and then fading hard in the 2nd off. They’ve blown a few games the last 3 weeks that way. I hope they shore it up.

And while we’re at it, a bunch of times today guys are going for the shot at awkward angles or in front of 3 defenders instead of passing for a better shot. I saw Saka do it a few times and Rice once. And over dribbling/touches before shooting in the box is frustrating. Jesus-rip the ball.

Also Nørgaard has earned more playing time when needed. He deserves to be in the rotation regularly, especially with rest and injuries. Next, that’s the developmental plan for Nwaneri? If he can’t get run in EPL, CL, or Carabao, is it not time to look at loaning or selling?

My thoughts:
Conceding late goals becoming a trend. Does Big Gabby returning fix that? You hope so.
But the real problem, this offense is dead and we need to fix it out ASAP. You can keep all your metrics on possession and XG, but the ball is not finding the back of the net.
