Trail Builder in the PNW. Yes, I do it year round. Yes, it's wet.
Probably smashing rocks, looking for bones, knitting, or fighting the gods.
"West Coast girls, we got it on lock!"

I am a different type of West Coast "girl"

In trail crew world we have a thing called a ramen bomb - where you make a packet of ramen with instant mashed potatoes after a really long day.

So now I'm just picturing a grilled cheese sandwich dipped in garlic mashed potatoes.

Probably only tastes good in the woods but... 🤷🏼

Huh. Well now I feel like an idiot. I drove that road on an ice-covered winter day and what stood out to me was how you could see so far down on either side of the hill through the bare trees. It did not occur to me until just now that those trees would have leaves on them in season 😅

Nope.

I had an extended plan* in grad school to steal the gorgeous sailboat someone used to moor in view of the library windows. It had a pirate flag on it! That’s like an invitation!

*swim out to it with a knife in my teeth

Here is a picture of my non-native cat, and some salmon berry flowers that I pressed on a back country trip building hiking trails

When I was at University, one of my roommates was majoring in linguistics and would often cover our whole living room with flashcards. I picked some things up through osmosis and always enjoy learning more.

Do you follow the guy who often breaks down pop culture or Internet slang on tiktok?

People often try to split up the syllables in my (non-english sounding) first name by inserting an L. It happens so consistently that there has to be a reason for it, but I haven't figured out the phonetics yet

good organizing also isn’t magic. it is about reawakening our connections with each other, being honest about our self and shared interests. it is incredibly human and it actually makes sense.
