ADHD is the largest treatable cause of unemployment.
Of suicide.
Of accidents.
Of violent crime.
Of drug addiction.
Of poverty.

Yet less than 1 in 20 people who have it who are over 40 are diagnosed, and the current system will never diagnose even 1 in 10 of them.

Nobody has seen or liked any of my posts for the past 21 days. Is there any point to this app? It seems to be worse and more disconnected than twitter.

As someone who works in the pension industry, the hardest thing is working on other people's pensions but never your own. Well today, I spent an hour and a half on my own pension. This is a reminder to everyone to just look at your pension. Update your expression of wish as a bare minimum.

Came face to face with a rather large fox this morning. 🦊 No pictures as it happened so fast. I was squealing inside with joy but the fox was obviously fearful and ran away.

For 2 days I've travelled back and forth to hospital in Edinburgh. I would very much like to not have to return soon. It massively affects my working day.

No no listen, all I need to do is figure out how to get 9-10 hours of quality uninterrupted sleep between 4am and 7am every day for the rest of the year and I’ll be fine

It's weird, maybe i have banged my head or had an aneurysm but I feel like being sociable. Maybe it's the time of year where we need to coorie. Take night walks and look at Christmas lights. Or go to a cozy folk music gig. Celebrate light and fire in times of darkness.

Grandmother's death day today. Weird that she died on the day of the dead. And also one day before my dad's birthday.

A fantastic spooky season surprise!

Instead of joining the extinct species list, the wolf spider has crept back onto the Isle of Wight after 40 years of ghosting. 🕷️🕸️

Does anyone know what happened to birders space? Is it still on twitter or have they made the move over to bluesky yet? Or is it disbanded?

Started pilates. Can't believe what a difference it has made to my morning. I think it might save me from the dark winter mornings.
