In Minnesota, we are all too familiar with false spring. You think maybe winter’s finally over...until the cold snaps back, sometimes even harder.

That’s what this moment feels like. You may hear that ICE is “leaving", but they’re shifting, spreading out.

Don’t mistake a brief thaw for safety.

Eight years ago a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School stole 17 lives from us.

I’m proud that survivors turned grief into a movement to #EndGunViolence. We must honor them by enacting sensible reforms to save lives.

What is it about Minnesota that made it a target for Trump’s ICE crackdown?

I couldn't agree with her more!
People are asking what they can do to help Minnesota. Come to our state, because it’s a beautiful place. Meet our people. Support our small businesses. Take in a concert. For months, Minnesotans showed the world that we are all neighbors. As soon as you visit, you’ll understand.

Thank you @democrats.senate.gov* for voting against funding for the Gestapo.

Keep the partial shutdown going until you can, at the very least, claw back some of the $75 billion ICE slush fund.

Trump's retribution campaign is still ongoing.

They've disappeared our children, tear gassed our schools, detained local business workers, and killed our neighbors.

We must remain vigilant and demand accountability.
Gov. Tim Walz: "They left us with deep damage. Generational trauma. Economic ruin in some cases. The left us with many unanswered questions. Where are our children? Where and what is the process of the investigation into those that were responsible for the deaths of Renee and Alex?"
