I like this particular HGUC action pose, so I tried to do the same with my MG.
It’s interesting how it doesn’t have the same level of articulation as the HG, so it ended up looking a little stiff and less dynamic.
Still, fun to do poses like these balanced on one foot!

I got into Gunpla because of the damage the 2024 US elections did to me.
I still struggle daily, but my family, friends, faith, and the Bluesky community have been the light during some of my darkest days.

Finished my MG RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type today. I rushed a bit since rain’s expected this week, so I wanted to at least get most of it done. Still have the rest of the weaponry to go.
While this wasn’t my favorite (molds and color separation are just OK), I still had a good time!

A quick Saturday afternoon build. Did some panel lining on the head the other day, but otherwise, I just snapped this together in about an hour.
They say no tools required, but I think a hobby knife is needed to clean up the white armor plates and visible inner frame sections.

Even though I’m still not feeling great, I put the finishing touches on my HGWFM Chuchu’s Demi Trainer. Such a solid design that looks and feels efficient and functional.
Anyway, this was yet another great kit in The Witch from Mercury series.

Got my first dose of the shingles vaccine yesterday and it's hitting me pretty hard today, so I'm taking it easy with some OG Gundam 0079.
This is so comforting and nostalgic to watch and listen to. I didn't grow up on Gundam, but the style and themes here resonate strongly with me.

The Goonies is one of my favorite films, but this set doesn't do it for me, similar to the recent $1K 💸 Death Star one.
It feels like Lego tried to cram in as many references as they could, which is fun to look at, but aesthetically it's really messy.

$10 Entry Grade kits really have no business having color separation this good. Like the EG Nu, the way the Strike Gundam’s eyes are done is so cool! No stickers required.

Fall weather makes me think of Maison Ikkoku for some reason, and with it being quite cold out this week, I think it’s time to revisit this latest printing of it from 2020.
Early on, Rumiko Takahashi’s work such as this, Urusei Yatsura, and Ranma 1/2 were huge influences on me.

That first Gundam 00 OP is so good. Any OP/ED featuring L'Arc~en~Ciel's music tends to be excellent, like The Fourth Avenue Cafe in Rurouni Kenshin.
Tetsu is a big reason why I wanted to learn how to play bass guitar, since first hearing his melodic style in Blurry Eyes from DNA^2.

Decided I'm kinda done with day one $70+ purchases, so in addition to games like these from decades ago, I've been playing other indies and cheaper titles like Star of Providence, Megabonk, Infernax, and Chained Echoes.

I also have the Chuchu Figure-rise Standard, so depending on how I’m feeling, I might build that afterwards too.
