Apple has such a suave way of choosing it's executive leadership, ever since Steve Jobs to Tim Cook, it's so organic and natural when the captain is but picked from the crew onboard as opposed to other instances where an outsider is sought and installed by the board. www.theverge.com/news/821691/...

@support.bsky.team guys I just want to appreciate the experience on the app hitherto; the #atproto protocol and network is all mind boggling even for my dev background, as an end user...an eccentric consumer and creative product - the rabbit holes all here are super immersive

Stop thinking you are "in a relationship" like you are in a house. You are "doing a relationship" like you are knitting a sweater. A relationship is a path you walk together, not a destination.

If AI has proven anything, it’s this: garbage in, garbage out. Language models only amplify the input we give them. As phones get smarter, humans risk getting dumber — caught in a loop of declining cognition.

@survivorquotesx.bsky.social ...binge watching Survivor Season 31: Second Chance and it is so fluid and has such an evolving socio-dynamic than most other seasons and gives more chances for any player to make power moves too; the idea of having alliances, core groups within them and voting blocs.

A #book has been brewing. It’s been taking shape among the spires of Oxford, the coffee shops of Madrid, and the libraries of Paris. It is the best, boldest, most honest, and most personal book I’ve written thus far. And I can’t wait to tell you more about it. Stay tuned. More to come next week.

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs.

Kenya's 2025 Cybercrimes Bill fails to understand that the internet is a public good and perhaps that logic is best encapsulated in John Perry Barlow's 1996 quote from "Declaration of Independence of Cyberspace"...

Survivor season 35 was such a maddening one for the viewer especially after the #benbomb became an enigma throughout the whole game, his fellow teammates not following him when he went looking for idols was infuriating on screen; I believe through the last couple of days...

The smarter and nerdier you get, the less you want to speak; especially on low level arguments or conversations since you would rather listen more and learn more; that gives you an upper edge since there is a knowledge of brain data to compare and contrast with.

Definitely a must read for anyone interested in the power of the human mind to desire riches so obsessively that they come to fruition from planning, persistence and actions. To control one's sexual urge is some wealthy meditation too..I recommend it to all. Still reading up the last chapters.thread

To truly live and be alive to the present moment and acknowledge the desires for a bright future, it takes dying. Dying to the instant gratification and dying to the materialism and our own impermanence in the universe. Am glad I did "die" already.

For men, the insurmountable task to control your sexual urge and rid the self of the instant gratifications that come with it opens the mind to tonnes of possibilities: focus and a sound financial bedrock that allows for consistent saving.

Find that neutral gear that can allow you to save, it's pointless to immerse oneself in vagrant spending, emotional spending. Saving ensures that you keep a keen eye on the future.
