Once again, one of the primary reasons we have arrived at this point (completely out-of-control & unconstitutional abuse of executive power to conduct wildly illegal foreign policy) is that no one, including the most senior people involved, went to jail for the rest of their lives for Iran-Contra.

We know the VA system has flaws, but cutting ~35,000 jobs, including doctors, nurses and other clinical staff, isn’t likely to help, even if some roles have been vacant for a year (since the admin started slashing gov jobs…)

Usually, when I need an appointment at the VA, I can get one within 2 weeks. Today, I called for an appointment and the next available is in May, 2026. Firing 35K people will do that. The Trump administration hates veterans.
