NOW, it's a pseudoscience because it's been debunked & is no longer mainstream scientific thinking. Calling historical eugenics a pseudoscience lets science & scientists of the past off the hook (Also, PS is more of a modern-day term. We had terms like "quackery" but eugenics was not that)

Boys then find themselves kicked out of school, thrown into juvie. The girls are presumed to not need any help, unless the instructor/admin "sees" a "problem."
None of this is helping kids, and it's all contributing to gendered and poor outcomes.

Boys can get "help" (effective or not) because they are more verbally and physically expressive. Girls, meanwhile, often do not receive adequate help because they are often internal with their mental health struggles. The former run into "tough love" discipline, the latter are often overlooked.

I do not have a subscription, but I whole agree from the preview to the post here.
I also think that many are not understanding (or perhaps valuing), that vulnerability needs a human response, and a peer response. Outsourcing mental health services to a bot is not the humanity we jdeserve and need.
