The sadly ironic death of Charlie Kirk: the untimely death of a human being pulls at our heartstrings, even as he was a victim of the same violence he so cavalierly dismissed. We should be better than this, and we start by rejecting Kirk’s view that any deaths are a fair trade for 2A rights.

Mike Johnson is lying, but let’s pretend he’s not. The only way the Bureau would use a pathological liar like Trump as an informant is if he was a co-conspirator and would record conversations with Epstein and other targets. So, let’s hear the tapes!

When the world seems to be falling apart, you may feel you can’t afford to take time away from the important work of trying to help hold it together. But it’s a marathon, not a sprint, so take a walk—or a swim—in nature; it will help fortify you for the long fight!

It’s clear the leadership and rank-and-file at ICE have disregarded their oath to the Constitution; ICE will have to be dismantled when democracy is restored.

While Trump was on his Bribe-Me tour of the Middle East autocracies, his henchmen continued to undermine our democracy; in particular, Stephen “Discount Goebbels” Miller floated the idea of suspending habeas corpus. We must fight his corruption and authoritarianism—everywhere, all the time.

Trump has always been a breathtakingly ignorant man, a conman & a criminal, and as president an aspiring autocrat & tyrant; summed up in his short answer to Welker’s simple question:

Welker: “But…don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?”

Trump: “I don’t know.”

Our critical failure to hold bad actors accountable made the current crisis possible: whether it was the Trail of Tears, the Civil War, Nixon, or rendition and torture under W, we’ve turned a blind eye once the perpetrators were no longer in power. When the current regime falls, we must do better.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

So, Trump has started a trade war and is destroying the world’s economy because he wants someone to talk to.🤦🏻‍♂️

“If I didn’t do what I did over the last couple of weeks, you wouldn’t have anyone who wants to negotiate,” Trump said. “Now they’re coming to us.”

Kind of incredible how much Trumpism really is just a dumber version of Pat Buchanan’s shtick.

Truly impressive that in only a matter of weeks, every one of these unqualified, dangerous, lying idiots proved every criticism of them to be completely accurate. The only one happy about this is RFK, Jr., who’s thinking, “I’m an anti-science conspiracy theorist, but these clowns are really morons!”

In dark times, it’s important to find joy and happiness where you can. There is beauty and light in art, nature, and community that Trump and his fascists cannot sully; it can sustain you and they fear it.

None!…Trump says he fixed it, and they all stand around in the dark cheering!
