A theory popped into my head while at the gym. But I theorize that now the men in power who are in the Epstein files are going to collude in order to present a “more pressing danger” before the people to manufacture a distraction.

Jimmy Kimmel's show returning to air is a victory for everyone!

Thankfully, the government was not directly involved in taking away Kimmel’s platform or to silence him. However, I would argue that it is very chilling to see private companies take action against someone’s platform, money, and reach at the behest of a government official.

A political belief that is respectable is whether the government should create affordable temporary housing for those who are homeless or contract out the work to nonprofits.

Gladly, I am sure the majority of the United States rejects Kirk’s vision of a white, Christian nation that is only exclusive to that population. At the same time, rejecting an abhorrent belief system is not violence against the person. Political violence is not democracy.

With more armed National Guard troops in Washington DC, there is the scary and real possibility of a massacre much like the 1770 Boston Massacre that was part of this country‘s fiery revolution against a tyrannical king. I really hope history does not repeat itself in the worst of ways.

The law is not as complicated as it is sometimes feels. At its core, it is the representation of values. It is made by the people, not politicians or governments. It can be cruel or compassionate. It can be strict or lenient. It can be truthful or dishonest. But everything is up to the People.

“So it’s not a complex issue. That’s the big thing, it’s super simple. There’s one group that has enormous power, is the most powerful country in the Middle East, it’s backed by the US, it acts on another population w/ total impunity and is never held accountable for anything.” -Michael Brooks, 2020

The irony of Trump firing the Commissioner for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, claiming without evidence that the data was skewed for political reasons, is that now he will find someone who will skew data for political reasons.

Former President Obama literally said:

“We salute the rank, not the person.”

Nixon walked so Trump could run. Nixon proclaimed that if a President does something, it is not illegal. Trump wants to make that a reality.

However, the irony follows. Nixon had to resign when he was being cornered in the Watergate cover-up. The buck stops with the President.

The Man in the Middle. Service today at church had such a great lecture. Thank you Pastor Wilfong.

Everyone is so close to realizing it: Trump ran for President because he wanted to use the power of the Presidency to protect himself. He used it to protect himself from prosecution, and now he is using it to delete incriminating evidence against himself like the Epstein files.

5 episodes of Ace Attorney back to back, alright, I can definitely see how anime can really make time fly by.

Just started a 7-day trial of Crunchy Roll to try anime for the first time. Let's see what happens... or how lost I get trying to navigate anime culture.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Did I just hear Mike Johnson say that rights are derived by God and not by government? If I heard right, then why are the vulnerable, the elderly, the immigrant, the people of color, and the poor all treated as less than humans under this GOP budget?

Republicans are still trying to pass their Big Betrayal Bill.

They held the previous vote open for hours—and STILL don’t have their shit together.

Maybe the problem isn’t the vote count. Maybe it’s the bill.

You can hold the vote open all night…trash is still trash.

Mexico vs USA in these times makes it that much more historic and iconic. Mexico will prevail. It’s personal, not just a game.
July 3, 2025 at 4:13 AM
The GOP is holding this big vote like they want to hold general elections. If the vote count isn’t to their liking, they will hold it open until the numbers match what they want.

A government that abandoned the vulnerable, attacked the defenseless, and abused its authority… is terrifyingly similar to the kind of government that compelled the United States to declare independence. Quite ironic given that it is about to be the 4th of July.

"At its core, I believe Squid Game depicts the message clearly: individualism in this world, or indifference if we want to call it that instead, kills democracy."
“One More Game”: Speculation, Individualism, and the Slow Death of Democracy

Squid Game, especially seasons 2 and 3, mirrors the U.S. election cycles post-Citizens United v FEC almost exactly. I hope more people see the parallels. Elections aren’t inherently evil, they’re corrupted. Like children’s games aren’t evil, but when hijacked by the greedy, they become bloodsports.

"Squid Game, season 3" presented by Experian has much irony in it, I do not know where to start by wording it.
