In the alternative, perhaps those same men with powerful connections will now correct course towards being more humane and willing to welcome human-centric policies in order to also distract people with new prosperity.

The first amendment is to protect the people from government actions against their speech, not against private companies. That’s reasonable. However, if private companies are being used as a shield in order for government officials to silence critics… that’s chilling.

To say that the homeless should be left to die in the streets with no assistance or to criminalize their last shred of a dignified life because the US is a “survival of the fittest” is not a political belief. That’s just plain cruelty towards our own brothers and sisters.

Here’s the unfortunate part, Nixon’s VP pardoned him after the resignation. So when Trump knows that he is cornered and that Vance is his only ticket out of the mess through a pardon, he will find a way to resign.

Just a prediction, but the Epstein files will be Trump’s Watergate. Trump will resign like Nixon when he knows there is no way out. Just as how Nixon’s own party slowly constricted him out of power, now the Republicans can do the same with Trump.
