Someone broke into my car last night but didn’t seem to take anything. Glass is all over everything in the backseat. My apartment complex let me borrow a garage spot until I can get my window repaired Wednesday. I’m so tired.

A new Publix just opened near me. I went to my usual after-work quick store today rather than seeing the opening-day crowds. The employees at my usual place definitely seemed different. I made sure to let them know how appreciative of their personal customer service.

Grace ran into my bathroom today and I picked her up to carry her back out, and every time I pick her up lately I’m incredibly sad at how much weight she’s lost. I miss my chonky kitty.

As I continue stewing over NOAA employees being illegally fired yesterday, let me tell you a bit about meteorologists.
Many of them have wanted to do this since they were kids. They sought out the classes to take for college admissions and went through all the physics and calculus in college.

On a mission to watch new sports live and there was a Fencing tournament in town this week. I can’t tell the difference between an epee, foil, or saber, but it was cool to see people so passionate and realizing how easily I could’ve gotten impaled today.

Love how “childless cat wino lady” is such an “insult” when of the men I’ve dated:
- broke up with me because I had gay friends and he wanted a wife that would go to heaven with him
- I broke up with because he’d rather go storm chasing than visiting my sick mom
- hooked up with an engaged friend
