Quality counts in healthcare. A nurse is who I am, as much or more than what I do. That picture is an aperiodic monotile quilt I made in 2023.
This isn’t complicated. It isn’t even necessarily nuanced. The “what”

Happy Pride all - and thank you @benmillett.us for your gorgeous quilt inspiration. I’m going to have to make it again with 10” squares next time, for more presence in my front hallway.

Latest quilt finish - no pattern really, just 5” squares with snowball corners arranged in a gradation. I need to practice a bit more on the gradation thing - there is a bit of a line through the middle.

I made a baby quilt in these dark days, hoping for brighter ones in the future. We elders need to ACT to make that future better for the littles.

As a Quaker, listening to the Light today while thread basting a quilt, I’ve wondered if the calls to “resist” are performative. My quilt says “do justice, love mercy, walk humbly.” It isn’t a message to the world, it is a meditation for me while making it. A reminder. I will act too, of course.

Last quilt finish of 2024. I just liked this fabric collection. It was an impulse buy.

Rage quilt done. Like I said, it is all irregular but ended up very squishy and drapey.

Still rage-quilting. No, nothing lines up and everything is irregular. But the wool batting is soft and at least the fragments are sewn together. I wish life could be re-attached that way.

I made this #quilt a couple of years ago. It still holds.
