I just got a msg from my special needs daughters class.
The class has adopted 2 bunnies. They have finally settled on names via votes.
There are 9 children, most are none verbal, but a few are pre verbal (like the baby babbling stage) they name them Bobert and Poot.
I find this outstanding! 🤣

The scene outside the Watch House during the riots is one of my favourite scenes in the whole series - just a perfect encapsulation of Pratchett heroes holding the line for the right reasons while being extremely aware of the real world complexities of doing that.

Absolutely. There are a few oooph moments here and there, as is pretty inevitable, but the core humanity and willingness to learn and become better was there from the start. I consider Discworld the most important series I’ve ever read, and one of the best moral/philosophical works out there.
