Some spots of good news. The clot did not move to my lungs. I got the job. I got the house. It's raining, because the sky still cares about the earth.

This is James. I currently have a blood clot in my arm. He keeps resting his head exactly where it hurts, gently. I swear, he knows.

There are people who've been sick for 2, 3, 4+ years now & still aren’t believed by the people closest to them.

Long COVID is real. Gaslighting is real. Support the people in your life trying to stay safe. You don’t need to experience it to care

Literally describing themselves as occupying a blue state like hostile territory with the military and federal forces.
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

Senator Alex Padilla is forcibly removed from Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem's press conference in LA.

"Hands off!," Padilla can be heard yelling.

Never seen a US senator handled this way.

I think about him. The one who got away. Well, ran. Ran away. Writer too. The way we finished each other's sentences wasn't the way others do. Caramel combustion all the way along. When he found her? HER. She was possible. Churchy smiley real estate agent. He wears bow ties now.

🚨 Update on the Republican budget bill!

Quick reminder: It's impossible to "look Latino." Latina America is as diverse as the United States. When people use "Latino" as a physical descriptor, what they mean is Indigenous. All the Americas have the same history. Sometimes, the invaders and slaver owners spoke English. Sometimes Spanish.

“Alisa, can you define your personal brand in one sentence fragment?”

This is exciting. My new S*b*tack about my near-death experience is one of the fastest-rising newsletters in spirituality. I was a materialistic atheist when I died in 2015, but that all changed when I went Somewhere Else.

I woke to find this on the counter. My son knows me so well!

Pink concha from La Panadería, and vegan breakfast tacos from Plantaqueria. Iced coffee from Mila.

I don't know. I just feel like the bathroom is the worst place to keep your toothbrush. Sharticles and pissspray. How about we keep it in a special container in the fridge, and just run it under warm water before use?
