since im posting quicker sketches rn here are 20 minute (per person) studies i did of the aos folks a couple weeks ago. gave jim and bones a lil more flair in the hair department just because 🤷🏽
Sketch studies of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Uhura from AOS with notes about things I noticed. For Chris Pine Kirk my notes are big forehead (!!), enough eyebrow for 12 people (!!), wide and pointy cupids bow, pointy chin, big head (!!!). My notes for Zachary Quinto Spock are "if his nose is too long or not round enough he looks like jason schwartzman," eyelashes (!), and aggressively attached earlobes. Notes for Karl Urban Bones are everyone else is Round and he is Not (pointy nose), pinched inward at top of nose bridge, brow always furrowed, flared nostrils and short nose. Notes for Zoe Saldaña Uhura are very smooooth, big forehead (!!), rounded cupids bow, smile lines, bump it :(

saw it Star Trek's anniversary today so here's a little something👏

While Voyager was the series I grew up with, my earlierst memory of Trek was actually seeing "The Devil in the Dark" when I must have been 4 or 5 years old. The visuals really stuck with me even when forgetting what they were from.
