If you are for small gov you should be in favor of this btw but conservatives aren’t in favor of small gov they’re in favor of the gov being as big as in needs to be to protect their financial interests and their “social values”.
Separation of church and state. Or Alabama where they refuse to make investments in education. Etc.. why the fuck shouldn’t my money stay in my state or region so we can have even more robust social safety nets and more investment in infrastructure and the general improvement of life to our people.
