I feel like I'm in 2007, an year before I joined an awe-inspiring platform that used to exist then.
I've lately been much disengaged from current affairs news. Recent events in India have started gradually gripping my mind.
In times where propaganda & narrative hijacks are so easy, it's difficult to know what's true & what to trust. It's important to filter out speculations.

Ended up wasting some time booting my backend application with SQLModel. I will consider @tiangolo.com's efforts well-intended but gone awry.
I'm glad to discover this sooner than later, as what I'm building is nascent & it's easy to just switch back to SQLAlchemy.

Excited to see @pixlie.com project board being beefed out. @brainless.in is doing some amazing work.

Now only to convince the developers in my life to contribute or quickly learn myself 😝

This is exciting news. I recently joined blue sky and I love it. I hope more people flock here!
Kat Tenbarge interviewed me about the migration to Bluesky among journalists.

It's easy to see why it's happening.

It's easier to find news, harder to spread disinfo, trolls don't drown out the good content, and links are not deprioritized.

It's a breath of fresh air for journalism to thrive in.
Journalists flock to Bluesky as X becomes increasingly 'toxic'
Journalists are finding more readers and less hate on Bluesky than on the platform they used to know as Twitter.
