Angry trans feminist hoping for positive change.
Speaking as a trans person and knowing that the govt has been talking with an anti trans organisation, I'm also anticipating this being used directly against us.

Then they're a "Friend of Epstein"

Oh I'm not saying he is. I'm saying they need to come out explicitly against it now if they don't agree with it. I fully expect they won't though.

Starmer ('s communication people) didn't quite say what the telegraph claim, and he was partially taken out of context - but it was implied that the police shouldn't be wasting their time on it, and that needs explicit correction one way or another.

I really hope they explicitly condemn it, and soon. Letting this stuff hang is just encouraging it.

I always have to confirm images of linehan haven't been modified, because he looks shopped and unrealistic.

If Labour don't explicitly condemn incitement to violence now, correcting the record, they're effectively condoning it.

Letting/encouraging/supporting
September 3, 2025 at 5:11 AM
At this point they should either have just said, "it's a police matter" or condemned inciting violence. Anything else was going to be twisted. And they know it.
September 3, 2025 at 5:05 AM
Starmer has the platform and the _need_ to correct them if he doesn't agree with what they've said.
By not correcting them he is condoning them.

I think there's a chance but she does seem to hate him, so we'll see
September 3, 2025 at 4:55 AM
He needs to either have said nothing or come out against inciting violence. They know anything else will get twisted.

Inciting violence against *all* women, there are already plenty accounts of cis women being harassed in women's spaces because they're not girly enough.

Let's make sure the world knows he's a threat to women and girls.

Transphobia is the UK's new official religion. Nobody is allowed to criticise transphobes, and transphobes can do no wrong it seems.

At this point, anything less than coming out to say that inciting violence against trans people* is wrong, is tacitly okaying it.

*Or any minority

Disgusting isn't it. "The police should be focusing on things that matter to people", he says.
They are. Incitement of violence against minorities is definitely worthy of police time. We are people and we do matter.
September 3, 2025 at 4:42 AM
They did imply that inciting violence against trans people is not worthy of police time, and they should focus on things that matter.
Which does imply that trans people aren't people and don't matter.
September 3, 2025 at 4:39 AM
Starmer has taken the time to say the police shouldn't be wasting their time on this, they should be focusing on things that matter to people.
So he thinks we're not people and we also don't matter.
Well it matters to me, and my friends, and my family.
