Anyway, "you can't spell awesome without 'me'!" makes NO sense without the (cute and funny) "Hey, kids! Spelling is fun!" bit. I dunno why y'all had to bully Taylor into taking that out of the song, but I will say I had no part in that and I'm proud that I didn't because I LIKED that bit.

This entire thread about #Solarpunk is really great and I think needs a lot more eyes on it.
It's also sad that people are falling into the trap of just seeing Solarpunk as an aesthetic rather than a political movement.

I'd like to take this time to spotlight some critiques I have of solarpunk that aren't just misunderstanding what it is.
I think a big problem we have beyond the lack of popular media (which may be a blessing) is the lack of certain voices.
There is quite a bit of diversity but we need more.

Solarpunk is barely ~10 years old. Meaning we can still decide what it is, and isn't.
The idea is meant to shift focus from what can go (more) wrong with the world, towards a focus on what can go right, and how to get there.
