It's also sad that people are falling into the trap of just seeing Solarpunk as an aesthetic rather than a political movement.
I think a big problem we have beyond the lack of popular media (which may be a blessing) is the lack of certain voices.
There is quite a bit of diversity but we need more.
Solarpunk is barely ~10 years old. Meaning we can still decide what it is, and isn't.
The idea is meant to shift focus from what can go (more) wrong with the world, towards a focus on what can go right, and how to get there.
It's also sad that people are falling into the trap of just seeing Solarpunk as an aesthetic rather than a political movement.
